In line with the official unveiling of the 3G iPod Touch (not to be confused with the 3G on mobile phones), Apple has likewise announced the availability of iPhone OS 3.1.1. This new firmware features Genius app recommendations, iTunes 9 support, redeeming of iTunes Gift cards, code and the like in the App Store, and the ability to view available iTunes account credits in the App Store and iTune Store as well. We’re hoping that they’ve also finally found a way to address the battery
